George enlisted November 16, 1942 and was discharged May 30, 1945, serving 2.5 yrs in Canada, United Kingdom and Europe.

Paid $1.50/day and sent half home when overseas.

 

Edward McNaughton

Division or Regimental No. M50273; rank, Private; enlisted March22,1941, discharged January 15, 1946. Served 4 years and 9 months.

Served in Canada, UK, and Continental Europe. Medals/Stars: 1939-45 Star, France-Germany Star, The Defense Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Paid $20 per month.

Training: Infantry landed in England and became frontline munitions transport. Landed on D-Day. Family members who served: Ray McNaughton, Navy, North Atlantic; Jim McNaughton, Air Force, Canada.

Louis Baudin

Division or Regimental No. 260800; rank, LAC. Enlisted July 6, 1943, discharged March 16, 1946.

Served in Patricia Bay, BC., Coal Harbor, BC., Western Air Command, Vancouver, BC. Pay $48 per month.

Training: aircraft mechanic.

Members served: brother joined army, went overseas and escorted prisoners.

Regimental No. C51653; rank, Flying Officer.

Enlisted Spring 1941, discharged Fall 1945. Served 4.5 years.

Served in Manning Depot, Brandon, Manitoba; Manitoba Aero-engine mechanic, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Newfoundland-flying crew, Dartmouth; flight engineer, East and West coast, Tofino, Vancouver, BC.
